音乐剧Into the Woods（《森林童话》）的结尾曲Children will listen讨论的就是这个问题。
Into the Woods是Steven Sondheim的两幕著名音乐剧，把灰姑娘，杰克的魔豆，小红帽，长发公主等著名童话故事等编在一起。第一幕忠实于原故事，结局是lived happily ever after（从此过上幸福的生活）；第二幕是原故事基础上的变奏，和对第一幕结尾lived happily ever after之后的生活与磨难的演绎。
这是一个娱乐性和哲理性度很丰富的作品，如果没有看过的话，最好找来看上几遍。
