经过大家的努力和一段时间以来的挑灯夜战，国际英文刊IJABE 2009年第一期终于按时出版了（http://www.ijabe.org）。本期向读者朋友奉献了十篇文章，内容包括黄瓜收获机器人、农药变量喷施、施肥对土壤特性的影响、番茄渣固态发酵二氧化碳变化率、转基因作物花粉源无损检测方法、玉米秸秆热解生物油生产聚氨酯泡沫体、氮源与提取方法对水藻油脂产量的影响、低压超热气流干燥水分变化率模拟与优化、基于近红外光谱的水果品质无损评价、从农业工程到生物机电工程。所刊登的10篇论文的作者来自中国、美国与印度等，国际稿件占一半以上。除了研究论文外，还有主编致词、书评、信息等。目录附后，请读者不吝指正。
